JACOB AARON WOLFE
Codename:Talon
Age:16.
Allegiance:X-men
Species:Mutant.
Personality: Jake acts like brother to nearly everyone. Now whether he’s the older or younger brother entirely depends on if he’s acting wise and protective or if he’s intent on being an impish troublemaker. His impulsiveness has landed him in more than a few sticky situations, but fortunately he is intelligent and is good at thinking on his feet. He is also rather stubborn about things, which extends to a serious loyalty to people and causes. He has a strong sense of justice and often acts out on it without regard to the consequences. He isn’t a good planner.
Power:: Shapeshifting. Can change into any animal, including specific individuals, at will. However, it is limited to beings Jake has seen before. The more familiar he is with the being, the easier it is for him to change into it. It relies on the information he personally knows and recalls about the being. A touch and a lot of interaction help lock in such information. If he changes into something he isn’t as familiar with, there may prove inaccuracies in anatomy or appearance. For example, while he can change into the family cat without anyone noticing a difference, if you asked him to change into an Orange Marmoset he would just blink at you. Loose clothes also don’t change with him. Though after getting seriously tired of coming back to human stark naked, Jake figured out how to keep a skintight outfit on underneath. So he at least has shorts on when he changes.
History:Jake always had been rather special. Interpret that how you will. He’s actually a bit of a mechanical genius. He has quite a knack with machinery and gadgets and such, and tinkers in his spare time. It’s surely the proof of a combination of talent, determination, hard work, and a multi-million dollar laboratory. His dad is a scientist for some big, government research… thing. He always supported Jake in his random experiments, and answered his seemingly endless questions. When Jake was around ten years old, his dad was very surprised by his son pretending to be a tiger. Sure, that’s a bit normal for a little kid, but most children don’t actually grow tails. By thirteen he had his father scratching his head about which of the large tabbies was his cat and which was his son. He would quickly solve the matter by threatening to cut lab hours for the cat that didn’t go clean his room. In a series of unimportant events, by 14 Jake was off to Xavier’s institute to learn to use his powers for the good of humanity. Or something like that. He still keeps in close contact with his dad, who is back to traveling the world for his research. Jake still always wears the pendant that his dad gave him. He never takes it off, in fact.
<<So, about that photo... does it have to be a photo of an actual human being, or can it be a photo of a drawing of an non-existent human being?>>
