Welcome to Rise of the X-Men site! We hope you enjoy Roleplaying here. Here are just abunchfew rules to keep us on our feet and not go crazy: This isn't an Anarchy.
We will not permit any type of racism, talk about religion (starts lots of fights), and Homophobes.[FIRST]
Obviously, starting with creating an account,
there are a few things to do when you create a character,
this may be a lot of rules, but trust me, this is for the best.
Alright, the characters you can create are Mutants, or Normal Humans.
You choose for them to be Evil, Good, or if they don't really have a side,
they are neutral. There are many different member groups. Please use appropriate
names. Not like 'Stupid McGee', a normal name. Of course, there could be
unusual names, that are traditional from other countries.[STARTING OUT]
Once your character has been accepted, it will be moved
to the accepted board where you can find it should you
ever need to look back at your biography. Now, you can
do a number of things. You can either start a thread with
your character, make a plot page for your character, or
you can put up a tracker for your characters, any of
which you can do at any time.
Now remember, there is no rule against Multi-Characters,
so long as you are active with all characters, go ahead,
have as many as you want.
Now we get to the role playing. There is not a word-count,
but please, no run on sentences, or post with like five words.
Give your partner enough to work with, maybe a sentence or two.
But still, there is no word count. By the way, to make sure everyone
has read the rules, there is a secret word. You have to post this
secret word on your application. Genie bottle is the word, application is
where it should be, thank you.
ALL PLAY BYS MUST BE HUMAN!! We will allow no characters that don't have a human form
unless they are canon, like Beast or Nightcrawler (But Nightcrawler has an image inducer.)
For those who want to make a character without a human form, PM the staff for permission,
but just PMing the staff wont give you permission, we cant have a lot so we can say no.[THE CHATBOX]
As you can see, there is a chat box at the bottom of the site,
and of course, there will be rules for the chat box.
1) This site is PG-13, so yeah, you can cuss, just don't over do it
Or make every word in your sentence a swear word.
2)Respect others. Do not insult anyone on the site, and if you are
just doing it jokingly, make sure the second person understands that.
If there is any of that, the staff will take action.
3) No advertising, yes, you could say you have a site, but no posting links to
other sites, PM them, or leave them in the advertising area in the site.
Yes, you can post a link to your ad.
4) For the love of God no spamming.
5) Guests will often wander onto the chat box, try to make them feel comfortable.[ROLE-PLAYING]
There are many different types of characters you can make. A mutant, a human, a teacher, anything really.
Just do not make your character some type of God, that is unfair to the others.
In this site IC, of course, there will be Homophobes and racists, against colors or mutants.
These things are permitted IN CHARACTER, out of character it is intolerable! and we will have no
such thing.
Now, we live in a world with hormone crazed children, so yes,
there will be drugs, and sexual activity. But please, do not act it out
as it is too graphic. There is a certain paint when you have to say put '(Fade To Black)'
on a thread. Two characters can be naked in front of each other, and kiss, and stuff, but
anything beyond than that is '(Fade To Black)'. If you want to act it out, do it through PM.
Next is the fighting, not sure that the site has a dice roll, so this means
that if you are going to make two characters fight, use logic, not everyone can win
every fight. So before a fight, plan it before hand through PM.
